Bay Clinic, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Community Health Center originally founded as a women's clinic in Hilo, Hawaii in 1983. Since that time, Bay Clinic has expanded from a small rural clinic to eight comprehensive Federally Qualified Health Centers serving the medical, dental and behavioral health care needs of East and South Hawaii Island. We serve 18,314 patients with 71,288 encounters annually.

Opened the Pahoa Family Health Center as a result of community development meetings to meet the need for health care in Lower Puna. |

Opened the Ka`u Family Health Center when the sugar plantation closed (and along with it, the plantation run health clinic), in response to community need in Na`alehu |

Relocated the Hilo Bay Clinic to the Hilo bay front; providing comprehensive medical and behavioral health care services. |

Opened the Kea`au Family Health and Dental Center to serve the Upper Puna district; adding dental care to our scope of service |

Initiated the Kea`au Youth Business Center for enriching health promotion activities for teens including music and the arts |

Relocated and expanded services from the Hilo Bay Clinic to the Hilo Family Health Center. |
| 2009 |
Opened the Pahoa Women's Health Center; our fifth health center. |
| 2010 |
Began Mobile Dental Van services to provide dental care to the Puna, Ka`u and Hilo districts. |

Opened the Hilo Women's Health Center - providing comprehensive OB/GYN, prenatal, perinatal, and women's health care services in Hilo. |

Opened the Hilo Family Dental Center with six exam rooms to provide affordable dental care for our Hilo community. |

Expected opening date of the New Ka'u Family Health and Dental Center, currently under construction. |
We are one of the largest nonprofit agencies on Hawai`i Island.
We have 155 employees; providing jobs to Puna, Ka`u, and Hilo residents -which is 9 million dollars in salaries and wages to support our local economy.
We continually give, high quality care to all, including the uninsured regardless of ability to pay.
